The Waldorf Astoria Park City Gondola offers access to one of the largest ski resorts in North America, Canyons, with 4,000 acres of skiable terrain, eight mountains with five bowls, 9,900 feet (3,045 meters) elevation at top, 6,000 feet (1,846 meters) at base area, 3,190 feet (972 meters) vertical drop.

Snowmobiling Tours

Explore Utah’s outdoors on a high powered snowmobile. Many adventures are available including guides, helmets, powder jumpsuits and boots. Minimum age to ride is 5 years old.

Snowshoeing

Enjoy one of the fastest growing winter sports in the world and give snowshoeing a try! A snowshoe tour is an excellent way to enjoy the beuty of the Wasatch mountains and get closer to nature. This activity is available at Canyons and guided tours are available that will match your ability.

Dog Sledding

A unique adventure for the whole family, glide through snow-covered meadows of the Wasatch and Uinta Mountain ranges in a dogsled pulled by a team of Huskies of Malamutes. You will learn the ropes and give mushing a shot. This activity can be arranged as a customized family or group friendly outing.

Zip Tour Adventure

New this season at Canyons experience the thrill of soaring mid-mountain on a Zip Tour. The Red Pine Zip Tour will take you on an 800 foot long tree top ride through the Red Pine Lodge area. The Lookout Zip Tour flies you across the canyon between Lookout Peak and Red Pine Lodge spanning over 2,111 feet.

Horse Drawn Sleigh Rides

Available at Canyons enjoy a 30-minute scenic horse drawn sleigh ride through Willow Draw and a complimentary hot beverage on the Ski Beach. For comfort blankets are provided during the ride.

Heli-Skiing Tours

Offered by Wasatch Powderbird Guides (WPG) take heli-ski trips into the Wasatch backcountry from Canyons Resort: Since 1973, WPG has been leading adventurous travelers on heli-ski tours in Utah’s majestic Wasatch Mountains and providing powderhounds with the addictive thrill of skiing acres of untracked Utah powder.

Bobsled Rides

A ride of a lifetime! Bobsled at the Utah Olympic Park, experiencing 15 curves at 80 mph and 4 G’s; limited availability.

Tubing at Gorgoza

Gorgoza Park is a downhill blast for the whole family. They offer lift-served tubing lanes that thrill children and the young at heart. The tubing hills consist of three lifts, including two conveyor belts, and seven different tubing lanes including a separate hill for the littlest tubers.
